This is Art Deco on wheels. Responsible for the bodywork is Henry Chapron, the French master body builder.
From the Type 145 V-12 12 have been built of which only two coupes with the chassis numbers 48772 and 48773. It is equipped with a Magnesium 12-cylinder engine.
At Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the grandfather of all competitions, it often won 1st prize.
The Delahaye Type 145 remains a favourite of sports car enthusiasts and collectors who love the fusion of power and elegance.
