A rare and special bronze sculpture from Maugsch Gyula
The artist's signature on the base: Maughsch
Gyula Maugsch (1882-1946) was a renowned hungarian painter, sculptor and medalist. He was an important point in 20th century Hungarian art. Has worked in Berlin with sculptors August Gaul and Reinhold Begas. Later on he has taught modelling in Székesfehérvár. From 1909 he has worked in Budapest, favored modeling animals and female nudes.
Was also designer for Herend Porcelain Manufactory.

Her condition is beautiful. Piece kept in a display case.
