An impressive and beautiful box for etrog
According to the divine commandment - on Sukkot holiday the four species must be placed in the Sukkah. The fruit of the etrog is one of them. The etrog should be kept intact otherwise it is considered damaged and cannot be used.
It is therefore kept in a fancy box as part of the symbols of the holiday.
On the box is written in Hebrew the verse from the Bible: "And you took the fruit of the citrus tree"
Delicate and beautiful filigree decorations, the box is gilded inside. Made by "DUGMA" Israel, sterling silver, the 1960s
