MOORE is a sculpture-armchair, entirely made of white Polyamide nylon (PA) by Diade.
Equipped with a rotating wraparound seat.
It has a comfortable and ergonomic shape with the large seat looking like a tulip flower on a rectangular base.
The rotating mechanism is on the rectangular base.
Designed by Philippe Starck, who presented it in 2008 at the 'ISaloni' Fair in Milano, immediately achieved enormous success.
The design of this masterpiece is modern and original; the seat soft curves are perfectly balanced with the square base.
The name suggests it was a tribute to the great English sculptor Henry Moore. Certainly more than as an "object of use" Moor(e) looks more like a "usable sculpture." For its materials, technology and comfort, it is perfect to define the concept of ‘contemporary luxury’
The seat is in an excellent state of preservation with slight signs of ageing. Only used as a sculpture.
