Hand-carved ice bucket with brass details. The hallmark of Macabo Cusano Milanino, who was the distributor of many Aldo Tura artefacts, the materials used and this unique design characterised by a blend of Art Deco and futuristic tendencies enable us to identify this item's designer as Aldo Tura.
In excellent state of preservation, the specimen on offer is polished, clean, free from traces of oxidation and ready to be used. The signs of age include the presence of small stains on the lid and some cracks on the brass ring.

Aldo Tura (1909–1963) was one of the most exceptional Italian designers from the ‘50s.
His international fame grew because of his design projects that simultaneously expressed Art Deco and modernist tendencies and featured rich materials, sculptural forms and exclusive artisan techniques. For that reason, the entire production of Aldo Tura remained limited, and due to its inability to be replicated, it never turned to mass production.
