Nihonto Tanto NORIZANE 盛 實 signé à Kosirae - Tamahagane - NORIZANE 盛實 - Japon - Période Muromachi (1333–1573)

Great Antique nihonto Tanto signed NORIZANE 盛實 With koshirae.

Very clear and beautiful Hammon with a good polish on it. You can see perfectly the tamahagane steel, hada grains and forging patterns, the tamahagane waves are beautiful and perfect. The quality and the particularity of this blade is especialy remarcable. Take a special appraisal at the old blade form Muromachi period.

Blade is in very good condition. Not hagire, no nicks, and not fatal damage, of course. This is a blade with hundreds years, and handforged, there can be little scratches. Please see the close-up pictures for amazing details.

All my swords are originals, imported from japan during many years of collection. Hand forged samurai blades are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education (Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education. Original must be keeped in Japan by law.
