Unique table lamp designed by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide in white enamelled iron, 1st series.
The designer and engineer Ernesto Gismondi is known for his contribution to the world of lighting design, through the famous ARTEMIDE company founded by himself along with Sergio Mazza, in 1960.
The lamp is part of the collections kept and exhibited in the most prestigious international museums, including the MoMA in NY, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna in Milan and the Museo della Triennale di Milano.
The item is in excellent condition with very slight signs of ageing. In working order.
The lamp can be adjusted in various positions.
Maximum height of use 57 cm.
This lamp was part of the furniture of a deceased important Italian design architect (purchased by the heirs).
