History: found buried in the ground near Chouichiyat on 3rd March 2013, and excavated by a team of local people. A single large mass (at least 20 kg) was found, composed of yellow-green crystalline material. Much of the material disintegrated into fragments during the excavation.
Thanks to studies, it has been proven that HED (Howardites, Eucrites and Diogenites) type meteorites come from the Vesta asteroid, so they are stony type meteorites, i.e., achondrites.
