Soviet Flak Anti-aircraft Binoculars D49 12x60
Rare Military Flak binoculars were made using Zeiss lenses and are wonderfully clear and super bright. Issued to several socialist militaries including eastern Germany's, these have the rare iron sights still mounted, show some wear in the leather eyepiece and to the paint, and are not in perfect cosmetic condition, but all mechanical functions remain top-notch to this day, and the picture through the glass will make you smile. The right tube contains a ranging reticle, which can be illuminated for night use by shining a light down through a small glass porthole over the reticle. The silver knob is actually a reservoir with desiccant inside, to keep the innards dry.
