Very well preserved. Original binding, original sewing, not restored.
Solid and firm books. Corners, edges and covers in good condition. Excellent hinges.
Interior: complete, intact, clean. Very good fixation of the sheets to the binding, no stains, no water stains, no insect holes. There are small tears in the first sheet of each book. They don’t affect the text.

Text in two colours. Wide margins.

About Miguel de Cortiada: Professor of Roman Law in 1650. He served as an patrimonial prosecutor in Sardinia and Barcelona, as well as regent of the Court of Barcelona. He was the author of Decisiones cancellarii te Sacri Reine Senatus Cathaloniae (1661-65), a book of vital importance to know the legislation of the Crown of Aragon and the canon law.
