We offer 3 nice vintage kokeshi. All three are from the Tsuchiyu substrain. Tsuchiyu kokeshi are not that common compared to some of the other substrains. Alle three are signed by the artisan. The tallest one is 46,5 cm.
Kokeshi are wooden handmade artisanal dolls from Japan. Initially, they were intended as toys for the children. Later they became popular souvenirs and real decorative items, for some even collector items.
The heights of the kokeshi in this lot range from 15,5 cm to 46,5 cm.
