Text in Ge'ez calligraphy written in Amharic on a single column
of 15 lines in black and red ink.
Consisting of 132 sheets.
The decoration includes 7 full-page illuminations
and one of half page.
Coeval leather binding on wooden slats with embossed decoration.
In excellent condition, a few signs of use and loose and restored seam.
Text: Gospel of John arranged for the seven days of the week (e.g. sheet 64 Wednesday, 78v. Thursday, 102 Friday).
