For sale is a rarity from my collection: the beautiful, small 400 Reis of 1/4 Escudo (called pinto!) gold coin from Portugal, from D, Joao V.
The gold coin from 1728 has a face value of 400 Reis weighing 1.013 g and with a gold content of 0.917.
The coin is classified as Extremely Fine, so it is very rarely of this quality, as they have all been in circulation! (see photos).
