A little of history:
Sorna is one of the many brands swallowed by the Quartz crisis, despite not existing anymore, new vintage inspired Sorna watches are
produced in Hong-Kong with Japanese movements, but the original Sorna vintage is rare to find.
The collaboration between Sorna and Ronda is a Piece of Swiss Watchmaking History. The Ronda story begins in the Waldenburg Valley in Switzerland’s Canton Basel-Land over 70 years ago. What started off as a small and modest rural enterprise has developed over the decades into a family concern that now employs about 1500 personnel worldwide. They introduce and invented trailblazing in 1929 so that they could punch 32 holes cleanly, precisely, and simultaneously into a pillar-plate. Ronda was producing movements for many brands including Oris and Brac.
