Antique Japanese sword (hira- zukuri tanto in aikuchi koshirae). The blade is mumei, made in the Edo period, has a good polish and shows fine scratches, but no rust, no bend, no chip or crack. Itame hada , "suguha/ notare " hamon with deep temper at the point , "ubu " nakago. Length "nagasa": 20 cm, length in koshirae: 42.5 cm, "motogasane": 0.6 cm, "motohaba": 2 cm. The koshirae in good condition, the saya is urushi lacquered wood and tsukais covered with polished white ray skin. Beautiful kozuka with signed kogatana. The sword comes with a copy of the "torokusho" (Japanese registration certificate), original "torokusho" remains in Japan.
