The ladies ring is made of 585 yellow gold = 14 kt and hallmarked as such.
The ring head is set with a large, natural oval cut emerald, which is held securely by a bezel setting.
The emerald is of good colour and has a natural jardin.
It is surrounded by a broad, ornamental openworked decorative setting with bead and reel finish. The ring shoulders have polished layers.
Ring head 16.4 mm x 16 mm,
size of the emerald approx. 11 mm x 9 mm,
in very good clean condition.

Gemstones are commonly treated to improve colour or clarity. It has not been ascertained whether treatment was carried out for this item.
