An Iron Tsuba oval shape with no Kozuka and Kougai hole
This Tsuba is quite large and heavy compared to many other Tsuba, which we deal at our online shop. Nakago Hitsu (center hole of Tsuba to put a sword) looks thick, so its center is thicker than the surrounding area.
At a small lodge, people who seem to be monks and farmers stand close to the river. Mountains and a temple are engraved in the distance and covered by clouds to make a mystic atmosphere. On the backside, it might describe s different scene of the same mountain. A small lodge, pine trees, and a man taking the boat is engraved. Clouds are covering the moon. This Tsuba might describe monks’ living or people who live a long way from any human dwellings.
