The here offered lamp is the first of its series, which was produced with patent no. 5278-914551-73865, made in Italy, 1967, orange and white
Eclisse, by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, 1967 received the "Compasso d'Oro" prize. Exhibited at MoMA in New York.
The lamp consists of three half spheres:
One serves as a base, the other two are the external lampshade and the internal rotating lampshade, which regulate the light intensity, which mimic a lunar eclipse.
