Handwritten 41-line text in two columns rubrications and vertical ornaments in red and blue, wide margins all around with occasional additional boxed text in the margin, alignments in graphite visible . Long decorated beards.

A rare and impressive example of early vellum manuscripts.
According to info by the previous owner, this leaf belongs to an incomplete book of hours from the North of France (Part of Flanders in the time) once in the possession of a collector from Bruges. The dating is also based on the miniatures present at the time. (North of France 1270-1280)
