Vase with ivory lid with inlaid applications of mother-of-pearl, ivory, red coral, peau d'ange and tortoiseshell. Made using the Shibayama technique depicting floral compositions with large carved vase to simulate wicker weaving. Decoration on both sides. Lid with upper grip depicting a monkey.
Masayoshi signature within a mother-of-pearl rectangle.
Original base in finely carved and perforated wood.

Dimensions (without base): 25 x 13.5 x 13 cm.
