Very decorative engraving of Amsterdam.
Title with publisher’s impressum at the top; in both top corners is a comprehensive legend. At the bottom is a view seen from the IJ with a separate title in scroll, framed by engraved frame which rests on a column on either side with the coat of arms of the city in the left and old city seal in the right column and crowned by a emblematic cartouche. In both bottom corners are each an emblematic cartouche in naturalistic style. The entire page is surrounded by an engraved decorative edge.
Partially old coloured copper engraving issued in Nuremberg by Johann Baptist Homann around 1730.
