A beautiful and unique industrial copper clichés on wood.
The clichés originate from the company "Roemeling Evers Co, Winschoten" who sold mainly agricultural machinery in the period 1920-1960.
These printer blocks were used to print illustrations of their agricultural machinery in advertisements in newspapers and daily newspapers. See for example a newspaper advert from 1927 in which an example of a cliché is used (not included in this series of clichés) - man on tractor.
