Jan Makkes was a family friend in those years, also frequently visited us and my father donated this painting (or watercolour?)
.
As a man and artist, Makkes was impressed by the threat posed by industry pollution.
The watercolour is probably painted on paper and reinforced with a rear panel and glass at the front.
I would like some help with the valuation.
