Six masses of the Cape York meteorite have been discovered so far at the remote and impassable shore of north-western Greenland.
With a total mass of 58 metric tons. This slice is from the mass called Agpalilik. It's a 20 ton mass that was discovered in 1963 and was brought to Copenhagen / Denmark. It took nearly 200 hours to cut a full slice from the 210 X 200 X 125 cm mass. Agpalilik is now displayed in the front of the geological museum of Copenhagen.
