A historic stock of the Digital Equipment Corporation of no less than $25,000, very rare share.
Size: 30x21 cm.
The company was established in 1875 in New York.
The Digital Equipment Corporation was a pioneering IT company in the United States of America. The acronym DEC was generally used, once also used by the DEC itself, but immediately put aside and replaced by ‘Digital’ to avoid a trademark dispute with the Dairy Equipment Company of Madison, Wisconsin.
The company was later acquired by Compaq, which in turn was incorporated by Hewlett-Packard. Since 2004, their product line has been marketed under the HP brand.
