Kamigata diptych (right part of a diptych) by Gosôtei Hirosada (act. 1826–1863, died ca 1865). Depiction of actors (yakusha-e) from the kabuki play titled "Dôjima Sukui no Tatehiki" (堂島救入浜) performed at the Nakamura-za theater (中村座) in Edo.
These are the actors Nakamura Utaemon IV as Kurofune Chûemon (R), Jitsukawa Enzaburô I as Hanjimon Kihei (L)

The colours on the Osaka oban prints are typically of great beautiful, emphasised by the addition of metals, embossing and luxurious techniques. The quality of the prints is, with a few exceptions, extremely high, and more neat and expressive than the Edo prints.
Issued in 1850 (Kaei 3), 3td month by Kawaoto (川音) and are signed "Hirosada" 広貞.
Condition: good, beautiful condition Nice register (adjustment of the colour blocks to the mother block), fully and beautiful lines, well-cared for edition.
