Probably one of the first Merry Wanderer figures by M. I. Hummel. Could it have been created by sculptor Arthur Moeller?
This Merry Wanderer differs from the others in his face, especially in that he has painted eyelashes. Its height with the base is 12.5 cm - 5 inches. Weight 109 grams
It also has several different Goebel brands on the underside of the pedestal, as well as two holes instead of one crosswise. On the upper side of the pedestal is the signature
He also has other lapels on his coat. There are more inscriptions on the figure that are difficult to read.
Furthermore, it does not have a slash after the number 11, but a dot. We did not find the same markings on the Internet.
The statue is preserved in good condition. There is a small sign of damage on the pedestal and there is dust in some folds of the statue. The condition corresponds to the age of Merry Wanderer.
