Ancient Roman Bronze figurine of a Legions Officer called " Tubicen".
The Tubicen, the player of tuba ( Trumpeter) have a different role.
He plays the beginning of a attack. He also plays the retreat.
Tuba orders seemed to be more global than the orders of a the Cornicen.
He wears his full military armor ( Helmet, cuirass and sandals) and is in position of playng of the instrument giving his orders.
An sensational and very important bronze figure from one of the most significant position in the roman legion.
Lovely ''emerald'' geen natural patina with some scratches and slightly corroded,
slightly corroded left foot (which is a perfect sign for authenticity!) and leg also broken left hand, the Tuba istrument is missing!
