This head fragment is in Greek-Cypriot style. It probably belonged to a larger sculpture. It is a female face with very characteristic features such as almond-shaped eyes, a large nose and thick lips. It has a hairstyle with a side ponytail that collects the curly hair.
Due to the archaic style that it presents both in the features and in the form of the carving, this sculpture belongs to a first group of figures made early in the 8th century BC.
