Romain antique Verre Unguentarium - (1)
2nd - 3rd century AD

Ancient Roman Unguentarium, used by the Romans for storing precious perfumed oil. Bell-shaped body with an elongated cylindrical neck with flattened, rolled rim. Beautiful transparent colouring.

Length: 79,3 mm

Condition: Good condition, intact, some dried remnants inside, beautiful transparent colouring and light irridescence. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.

Purchased by the current owner from at a Dutch antiques fair in 2020, previously in collection of T.M.
