Viking Bronze Extremely Rare Openwork Zoomorphic Amulet with a Double Image of the Dragon Fafnir with an open Jaws.
A very expressive image of the angry dragon with the open jaws who was described in the Icelandic Volsunga Saga (late 13th century) as the most agressive among the three brothers. He was affected by the curse of Andvari's ring and gold, and became a dragon.
Very well preserved and still wearable with a nice dark green natural patina.
