A lovely extraordinary large 53,6(!) centimeter antique Chinese porcelain funerary vase with a central decoration of a long dragon (ca. 40cm) surrounded by stylised flames and auspicious objects, executed in a nice monochrome greenish white Qingbai glaze. In the border a classical decoration of stylized geometrical patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the later Song/Sung dynasty. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Provenance: formerly in a Scottish collection from Wilmslow, formed in the 1950’s
Height: 53,6(!) centimeter.
Condition: The object is in overall good condition, a few hairlines on the foot, slightly bend, small chips, without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
