Excellent condition, a rare lot. Red satin inner lining.
This specialty was created on 16 April 1927 under the name of Milizia Artiglieria Contraerei (Anti-Aircraft Artillery Militia) and was renamed Milizia per la difesa antiaerea territoriale, (M.Di.C.A.T. - Territorial Air Defence Militia) in 1930. Even in times of peace, anti-aircraft defence was entrusted to MDICAT. This special unit of the Militia consisted of 22 Legions that were responsible for different parts of the national territory
according to the importance of cities and military objectives to defend against enemy airstrikes.
