Josep Artigas i Ojeda (Barcelona, 1919-1992). He was one of the most important post-war Spanish poster designers, honorary member of the ADG (Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers)-FAD (Promotion of Decorative Arts).
Bloom is a brand of insecticides that has been on the market for many years. And it's well known to consumers.
Bloom appeared on the market in 1965.
In the late 1960s, DDT began to have bad press. The population was informed of all the problems that had brought such intensive and extensive use that had been made since 1945. In fact, Cruz Verde was born in that year to market insecticides based on this organochloride compound. With the change of mindset, it had to distance itself from DDT and Cruz Verde stated that its products for domestic use were free of it. In 1970 a new campaign appeared in written press in which a pair of pigeons flew next to a Bloom tin. Remember that at that time DDT was accused of being guilty of the decline of raptors, since bioaccumulation in the body of raptors caused the eggs to form with a thinner shell. Bloom should appear as a safe product for people and the environment.
