A Keith Haring-designed poster for the “Crack Down on Crack” benefit concert in Madison Square Garden, New York, on 31 October 1986. The concert was organized by famous concert promoter and producer Bill Graham to raise funds to combat the crack cocaine epidemic in New York. The concert featured more than 10 artists such as the Allman Brothers, Crosby, Still & Nash, Santana and Run-DMC.
Haring's iconic bold lines and bright colours create a poster that serves as a wonderful example of his ability to effectively using art as a tool to incite social awareness. Printed on heavy paper.
