In original boxes:
4 dinner spoons and 4 dinner forks by the famous silver brand:
Orfèvrerie Christofle® (Paris).
This is the 'Marly' design; this collection is still available.
Heavy quality, four spoons and two forks still new in the blister packagin two forks in new condition with a beautiful shine.
All cutlery items are marked (see last photo).
The Marly model was designed in 1897 and owes its name to the Marly castle built near Paris by Louis XIV as a 'pleasure palace'.
Marly is one of the most lavishly decorated patterns in Christofle's collection; the fine pursuit of his asymmetrical plant motifs, typical of the "Rocaille" or Louis XV style, highlights the silversmith's expertise and attention to detail.
