Decorative tin dish with the image of a resting lady surrounded by roses. The dish has the mark of Kurz Edeltin at the bottom. This particular mark indicates sand cast tin (95%).

The company Kurz Edeltin was founded in 1896 by Coen Kurz and started as a metalworking company. As of 1960 one completely switched to the artisanal production of nostalgic tin objects such as jars and jugs.
In 1984 the tin-branch was taken over by the tin foundry from De Bilt. Together with the acquisition of a few more tin companies at that time the largest tinsmith in the Netherlands. In 1987 the company moved to Zeist, where it is still located on the J. v. Oldenbarneveltlaan 46, under the name Kurz-Edeltin.
