Born on 12th March 1931 in Mola di Bari, he moved to Verona at a very young age.
He began to paint in the early 1960s and in 1965 he began to exhibit his paintings in many Italian cities.
He had two famous painters from Verona, Silvio Oliboni and Moreno Zoppi, as his teachers and friends.
Following his going out with the master Zoppi, his painting gained wider scope.
In his paintings on board he portrayed mainly landscape views of his beloved homeland and of his adopted land.
On 15th December 2005, he died in Verona.
The painting I’m offering here is an oil work on plywood.
The work was purchased by me from art dealer Roberto Ghelfi, who spent all his life searching for painters and have them known and appreciated by the large audience of art lovers and non-lovers.
The painting is part of my private collection and considered as a private sale.
