Offered is a Russian pass from a soldier who fought in World War II. The pass is dated 27 March 1944 and features a passport photo showing this soldier in uniform in the rank of Sergeant. It also lists in this pass all the uniform and equipment pieces he has received.
He was born in 1892 and by trade he was a farmer. He was employed on 29 June 1943 and took the oath on 15 August 1943
The pass is in all likelihood a replacement pass, (the original must have been lost in the heat of battle) because it is dated 1944 but it contains several dates in it from 1943 to 1945.
He officially left the army on June 23, 1945. He had yet to hand in his Nagant pistol on 8 July 1945. Before he returned home, he also received a new food tin.
You don't see a Russian pass very often, so take your chance.
