From the classic antique Swiss/American brand Crosby.
Swiss movements in an American case.
This version in late Art Deco style has a square case in beautiful condition with striking "blind" (not visible) strap attachment.
Dial in red-copper.... with gold numbers/markers and gold hands.
With of course some patina (dots/spots) after all those years.
The artdeco case is 23 x 30.7 mm (without the crown and including the lugs).
Relatively few signs of wear, visible dents in the bottom right.
Beautiful cushion glass.... still as new!!
Steel click back.
The marked Swiss movement has 17 jewels!
It has recently been serviced, oiled and runs on time.
(The deviation on the digital testing device averages 20 seconds in 24 hours.) Snapshot!
Equipped with a never worn brown leather strap from the time of the watch.
(new old stock!!)
Suited for wrists of up to approx. 18 cm in circumference.
In short: a characteristic Art Deco watch from the '40s... originally definitely a men's watch, but today it would naturally also look good/better on a woman's wrist.
(Crystals, crowns and straps are not covered by the warranty.)
