Original Haller wringer, approx. 1900. Beautiful cast iron item with real wooden rollers. Very decorative.
With wear and tear commensurate with age.
One of the four handles of the setting knob at the top is missing, but the setting knob and the crank on the side are still working. Therefore, the wringer is still in working condition.
A mangle/wringer was used for removing moisture from washed textiles and ironing
The fabric would be pulled through two rollers, the distance between the rollers being adjustable, and in doing so the water was squeezed out.
Due to the weight of the wringer, it can be collected only.
