Adorable pillbox by Mario Buccellati.
It features the initials "EM" engraved on one side.
Mario Buccellati is the greatest Italian jeweller and silversmith. He opened his first store in Milan in 1919 and was very much loved by aristocrats and members of the high Italian society. His customers include kings, popes, industrialists, movie stars.
He became friend with novelist and poet Gabriele D’Annunzio, who also was one of his more prominent customers and named him “The Prince of Goldsmiths.”
Buccellati is renowned all over the world especially for his masterpieces inspired by nature.
