Phalanna (Perrhaebia) was located about 10 kilometers from Larissa on the left bank of Peneios. Occupied originally by the Perrhaebi, the territory stretched between Mount Olympus and Peneios. The mint is small and seems to have been struck between 400 and 344 BC.
