Bon

This is a beautiful, antique dagger belonging to a naval officer from the era of the last emperor of Austria and the last king of Hungary, silver-plated version, a rarity.
This dagger dates from the period of the short reign of Karl IV from 1916 to 1918. Double etched blade, exquisitely etched on both sides - with the Austrian coat of arms on one side and the Hungarian coat of arms on the other.
Gold-touched coats of arms, decorated with a naval anchor, signs of wear.
Bakelite handle, bumpy knots entwined with dew, scabbard partially hammered with dew wound anchor around the emperor's initials, on the left the figure for Hungary and on the right for Austria.
Tip of the scabbard with a depiction of Neptune with a trident, ending in a dolphin.
Silver plating partially removed, but partly visible. This piece is steeped in European history.

Reliable insured shipping to the specified address.
