A very special early conversion of a pocket watch to a wristwatch. Often used during WWI due to the advantages of a wristwatch compared to pocket watches.
The watch is in very neat condition.
Both lugs are firm, and it comes with a new leather strap.
The enamel dial features a number of thin hairlines, not disturbing. (see photos)
The silver case is finely engraved and doesn't have much wear.
Both lids close well.
The movement is very clean and has a high quality, it runs well.
The watch dates from circa the 1900s and doesn't run as accurately as modern mechanical watches.
