The polyphon works and has a set of 70 records with various music, all from symphonies of the time. It looks very good, from the photos you can see its condition. Inherited from my father who was a collector of mechanical music, it has always been at home in my dining room. It works, is loaded with a crank and the spring makes the record turn like a music box plays the music imprinted on the disc.
It has discs with a diameter of 62.5 cm - interchangeable and made of sheet metal material of the time - estimated value of €25,000 - I would like to sell it to buy a car at auction - it was a first jukebox of the period and, in fact, it has a slot on the side to let in the coin, which I have, and then play. It was designed with the purpose of playing in German breweries.
