Very nice High End system from Proceed Madrigal thats a company of Mark Levinson. The set consists of: Proceed PDT-3 High End CD Transport. The last is this range of Proceed transports, the PDT3 makes use of the Philips CDM1 MK2 transport and therefore sounds fluid and subtle. But it is also quite fast on the transients and very dynamic. It even beats the Marantz CD94 in these aspects although it deviates from the latter because it is even more precise and detailed but also drier making it arguably slightly more technical. Some info on the PDP-3! This was Proceed’s flagship DAC (and most expensive). Built standards are worthy of a flagship piece and its 20 bit/ 8x Oversampling DAC is still a worthy contender in today’s 24 bit/192 Khz DACs. Inputs and outputs are those that are typically found on high end DACs. The system is in very good technical condition, the fronts are very nice and clean. The cases have some coloration due to sunlight. Its offcourse possible to repaint. See pictures for details.
