These two books by the FSA photographer Margaret Bourke-White (best known for her 1937 documentary photobook You Have Seen Their Faces ) are excellent examples of her postwar work.
Dear Fatherland Rest Quietly, is a powerful account of her experiences with the Allied armies as they occupied a shattered Germany in the immediate aftermath of WW2.
