Rare handmade southern Italic vessel of bag-shaped body and double strap handles.
The panels around the neck with red bands framed by black lines. A couple of angular hooks with black and red on the belly. Horizontal lines on the handles.
Fabio Colivicchi locates this kantharoid shape in Tyrrhenian Lucania and in the area of the Agri river and the Sinni (river) basins.

Condition: Reconstituted from few fragments, both handles reattached. Museum restoration with visible infill of the breaks. Good condition. Hand-modeled vase with very thin wall and well preserved decoration.
