Brightly decorated in the famille rose palette, with a man on a horse and a lady in a chariot accompanied by attendants within sepia “fish-roe” and floral lappets.
China, Yongzheng period (1723-1735)
Diam : 23 cm
Condition : 1 chip at the bottom of the plate
An identical plate is illustrated by J.P. van Goidsenhoven in La Céramique Chinoise sous les Ts’ing (Brussels 1936, plate 85, cat 182).
